A new independent furniture and craft shop has opened in Norfolk.

Hare and the Bear has opened at Plowright Place in Swaffham and specialises in bespoke upcycled products from furniture to home accessories and craft gifts.

The business is run by Sue Buckland, who first started the project as a hobby during lockdown and sold items at local fairs.

Due to the popularity of her products, Sue wanted to have a permanent space to sell craft creations and decided Swaffham was the ideal location.

Since opening last month, the business has generated lots of interest with the reaction being “really positive” so far.
