BFM discuss ‘Industry Matters’ at London Fabric Show in latest podcast

National trade body, the British Furniture Manufacturers has discussed trends, predictions and events with exhibitors at the London Fabric Show 2023 as part of its ‘Industry Matters’ podcast.

BFM Marketing and Communications Manager, Jo Audley-Charles and Chair of the Board, Nick Garratt – who stepped in for MD Sean Holt after he broke his arm – toured the London Fabric Show, for the second episode of the podcast – available online now.

The pair also chatted with exhibitors including Edinburgh Weavers, Eurotex, Medoks, Kaçar Tekstil and Seba Tekstil.

Jo said: “Fabrics are such an important element of furniture, with so many techniques and raw materials used to create some incredible fabrics in a massive array of gorgeous colours and patterns.

“It was fascinating to talk to the exhibitors at the London Fabric Show and find out a bit more about the innovations in textiles as well as the design trends and key colours for 2023.

“Having the chance to look and feel the many amazing fabrics at the show was incredible, with so much to learn about where they come from, how they are made, the history of some of our well-established companies and how they continue to evolve to meet the needs of today’s market.”
