Beds retailer announces new charity partnership

Beds retailer Mattressman has announced its partnership with Furnishing Futures as the small charity’s key mattress and bed supplier.

Launched by founder Emily Wheeler in 2019, Furnishing Futures is a charity that focuses on providing good-quality furniture and creating healing homes that nurture and uplift women and children who are fleeing domestic abuse or experiencing furniture poverty.

The charity accepts donations of furniture and homeware from the interior industry and its supporters, having been supported by brands such as DFS, Laura Ashley, and Dunelm.

In conjunction with Mattressman’s zero landfill recycling policy, the company has committed to donating mattresses and beds for future homes and projects as well as offering additional support with its next-day delivery service for emergencies and warehouse space.

Marketing Manager Louis Kerry said: “Partnering with Furnishing Futures means a lot to us at Mattressman. We’re proud to supply the beds and mattresses that will help turn houses into homes for families who need it most.”
